Note to instructors: These downloadable MacGAMUT 6 Mini Demos will let you preview the MacGAMUT software your students would be using. But, to get a more complete idea of how MacGAMUT 6 will work for you and your students, you will want to request the MacGAMUT 6 Instructor Demo Disk. The Instructor Demo Disk includes fuller demo versions of the User Disk software as well as demo versions of the Instructor Disk programs, which permit you to customize your students' User Disk software to match your curriculum, your textbook, and the way you teach. The Instructor Demo Disk is FREE, but it is available ONLY to teachers.
NOTE: If the installer window does not appear when you think it should, it is probably hidden behind other windows that are open on your screen. In that case, you can minimize other windows so that the installer window shows.

NOTE: This installer creates a MacGAMUT Mini Demo Work Folder in your Documents folder, and puts a copy of the text files in that Work Folder so you can easily access the various MacGAMUT text files (User Guide, Keyboard Shortcuts, etc.) without using the Windows Start menu. This change was necessary because the traditional Start menu is not accessible in the default setup for Windows 8. If you do still have a Start menu, you will be able to access the files either from the Start menu or in your MacGAMUT Mini Demo Work Folder. . |

NOTE: The only difference between these two Macintosh installers is the installer itself. Exactly the same software and all other MacGAMUT files will be installed no matter which installer you use, but the new 10.8 (Mountain Lion) security features require a different installer that also works for 10.7 but is incompatible with earlier OS X versions. Just follow the on-screen instructions to complete the installation. The installer will place all the MacGAMUT Instructor files in a folder labeled MacGAMUT 6 Mini Demo in your Applications folder. To begin using the Mini Demo, double-click the MacGAMUT 6 Mini Demo application icon in your MacGAMUT 6 Mini Demo folder. |

This video tutorial, included on every MacGAMUT 6 CD, demonstrates many of the techniques and short-cuts you will use in entering your responses to MacGAMUT exercises. It provides an excellent introductory illustration of how the software works. Because of the size of this video file, we have not included it in the Mini Demo downloads, but offer it as a separate download.
